I like to shoot in a spontaneous snapshot-like way, prefering available light and unexpected situations. Often involving social or humorous commentary. Hopefully, the result could be a single shot with an extra layer of meaning that renders it a timeless picture.

A visit to Red Cross mobile health units in a very remote jungle area along the Colombian San Juan River.
A visit to a several pueblos in the northeast region of Guatemala that were severely affected by hurricane Stan in 2008. Climate change is imminent here. There were no mudslides a couple of decades ago. It's act now or move for these people. Commissioned by Dutch Red Cross.
Red cross is active in many countries trying to build an infrastructure around climate change prevention. Schools are being upgraded to shelters, safe havens that offer clean water and protection. Kids are educated by planting trees together, explaining them about deforestation hazards.
Conditions in a local hospital in Quibdo, in Colombia's Choco province. Red Cross and Doctors without Borders took over this hospital and greatly improved circumstances here. Commissioned by Dutch Red Cross.
